Graduate Assistant, Center for Career & Professional Development
Position Type: Federal Work Study or Non-Work Study
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develops a working knowledge of the departmental functions and career resources.
- Advises students and alumni on experiential education and career subjects.
- Builds and maintains relationships with employers, faculty, and staff.
- Researches and uses technology to work with Detroit Mercy students.
- Researches and completes special projects with the opportunity to provide input on choosing projects aligned with personal and professional interests.
- Special assignments include Coordinating practice interview sessions, the Student Ambassadors program, as well as other career events.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS required & acceptance to a graduate program at the University of Detroit Mercy.
- Enrolled in the Detroit Mercy Clinical Psychology MA Program.
Anticipated Schedule:
- M-F; 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
